Responsible AI Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Summary: Hardalion builds infrastructure for controlled AI execution, not unconstrained automation. The Nexus Execution Protocol (NEP) provides a deterministic commit boundary. AI may propose actions; policy and humans decide what commits. We do not use your confidential data to train public foundation models unless you expressly agree in writing.
1. Our approach
Hardalion's products may include AI-assisted features. We design these features so that probabilistic model outputs are evaluated against policy before they affect operational systems. Where NEP is deployed, violation energy above zero blocks execution by design.
2. Human oversight
You retain responsibility for how AI is used in your organization. Our tools support human review, escalation paths, and audit trails. You configure which actions require approval, shadow mode, or dual control.
3. No sole reliance on AI for regulated decisions
Unless you explicitly configure otherwise in a controlled enterprise deployment, our consumer and self-serve products are not intended to replace licensed professionals (accountants, lawyers, clinicians, compliance officers). Outputs are informational and subject to your verification.
4. Training and model data
- We do not sell customer content to third parties for model training.
- We do not use your production API payloads or customer-uploaded confidential documents to train public general-purpose models unless you opt in under a separate written agreement.
- Aggregated, de-identified telemetry may be used to improve reliability and security.
5. Accuracy and limitations
AI systems can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. You must validate outputs before acting on them. Hardalion disclaims warranties on AI-generated content to the maximum extent permitted by law; see our Terms of Service.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not use our services to deploy AI in ways that violate law, infringe rights, circumvent safety controls, or bypass the NEP commit boundary where it is contractually required. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Transparency and audit
Enterprise NEP deployments support cryptographic audit records for policy evaluations and commits. We encourage shadow-mode evaluation before enforcement in production.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy as our products and regulations evolve. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
